This website was made for the Crawford After School Program, for the kids to come and bring interest to the many clubs they offered. This site also shows the kids what the program consists of. My Truong and I were the designer of the template while the other two team members, Heather and Charity were in charge of the contents. First we designed a couple templates for the client to approve. They chose two templates that they liked and wanted a combination of the two templates. We did what was asked. After that was done, Heather and Charity added content and maintained the site. Working together as a team made it all better then working by myself, because everyone contributed their opinion about the design which helped me. There were a few problems throughout the process, but we accomplished it by the deadline.

This experience of creating the template and combining it with another team member’s design had some minor problems because we had different ideas, and kept making changes to the design. But in the end we were satisfied with the result. From this I realize that when you are the designer, you have to keep in mind views of others, and not only yourself, because everyone has a different way of looking at it.

Working on this project was a good experience for me. I learned what I should expect when I’m working with clients. It’s a head start for me because I learned from this opportunity, and the next time I will do better.
